Charity Partners

It’s really important to us that we give back, especially to those who dedicate their lives to helping others that have suffered and to charities that help look after our loved ones.

Three times a year we will partner with a different charity or organisation and donate some of our beautiful bears to them during this time.
We are excited to announce that our very first charity partner is the

The Scott Martin Foundation was founded on the 9th February 2021 by Samantha Merrilees, following the sudden and tragic passing of her precious son Scott Peter Martin, aged 16 years.

Scott was an extremely gifted and promising young boxer as well as a top youth footballer, who spent time on the books of professional clubs such as Scotland BC, Falkirk FC, Hearts BC and Partick Thistle Youth Squad, as well as local clubs Syngenta Juveniles and LK Galaxy.

Scott’s own struggle with mental health before his tragic passing on 1st January 2021, has left his family devastated but determined to bridge the gap so many young people like Scott find themselves facing and to ensure that some level of support will be offered to sufferers and families while waiting to been seen by a designated clinician or mental health professional.

The Scott Martin Foundation aims to raise awareness for Youth Suicide & Youth Mental Health. Working with Scott's favourite place Sparta Boxing Academy & FDAMH.

A quote from our partner

As the founder of the Scott Martin Foundation, I was absolutely delighted when Angela asked if we would like to be her new venture's very first charity partner.  As a charity which supports children, young people and their families with all aspects of poor mental health, we are constantly looking for ways to bring, happiness and comfort to the ones who contact us for support.  With the donation of these wonderful bears, the Foundation will be able to reach out to some of our families and do exactly that.

The comfort this donation will bring to the families we support is huge and greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Angela and her wonderful Forever In A Bear donation

How you can help

Sadly, many families have been devastated by suicide. Many young people suffer from poor mental health and often don’t know where to turn for support. If you know of such a family, share this link with them and tell them about the Scott Martin Foundation.

Please also consider making a donation to the valuable work of this Charity. All donations go directly to providing much needed help and support.

In times of grief and loss…only beauty and love shine through
